Privacy Policy
Effective date: [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — actual publication date]
Last updated: [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — actual revision date; do not prefill a future date]
1. Who we are
PixelArtNow is operated by [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — legal entity or individual operator name], with an address at [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — required business/postal address and registration details] (“PixelArtNow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Contact: support@pixelartnow.com [OWNER/LEGAL REQUIRED — verify inbox, provider, region, retention, and deletion process before publication].
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how PixelArtNow handles information when you visit pixelartnow.com, use the Image to Pixel Art or Pixelate Image tools, manage analytics choices, or contact us. It applies to the website and current browser tools. It does not describe a future account, cloud storage, payment, or public-sharing service.
3. How the image tools are designed to work
[DO NOT PUBLISH UNTIL G3 CLAIM GATE]
Your image is processed in your browser for the editing workflow. PixelArtNow is not designed to upload the source image or generated export to our application servers. Active work may include the selected File, decoded pixels, Canvas/ImageData, edit history, a selected rectangle, generated output data, and temporary blob URLs in your browser.
PixelArtNow does not intentionally store your source image or generated export on its application servers. Active work is temporary and can be lost when you reset, replace the image, refresh, close the page, or the browser stops. There is no cloud recovery or project history.
The source filename may be used in the browser to suggest a download filename. It is not designed to enter analytics events, page URLs, or PixelArtNow application logs. Blob URLs are temporary browser references, not public sharing links.
Exports are newly encoded from processed pixels and are not designed to copy source EXIF metadata. Do not rely on PixelArtNow as a guaranteed metadata-removal tool; inspect an exported file before sharing it.
This subsection may publish only after source, Network, Storage, CSP, object-URL, output-metadata, and Legal verification. If the implementation differs, rewrite the policy to describe the actual behavior before publication.
4. Information we may handle
Depending on the approved production configuration, we may handle:
- Website request and security data: ordinary technical request data used to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser/user-agent information, requested URL, time, and security/log data handled through Cloudflare. Exact fields and retention:
[OWNER/OPS/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED FROM ACTUAL CLOUDFLARE CONFIGURATION]. - Analytics: PixelArtNow does not use Google Analytics 4, Plausible Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity in the current service. The current production candidate does not load their scripts, send analytics requests or events, or write their identifiers.
- Support communications: your email address, message, and technical headers when you choose to contact support. Provider, region, retention, and deletion process:
[OWNER/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED]. - Search performance: Google Search Console may provide aggregate search queries, impressions, clicks, positions, and indexing information for the site. It is not an in-tool image-processing or session-replay script.
We do not have accounts or payments in the current tools, so we do not intentionally collect account profiles, passwords, payment card details, purchase history, or credit balances through them.
5. Why we use information and our legal bases
We use information only for the purposes supported by the actual production configuration:
- to deliver, maintain, and secure the website;
- to respond when you contact support;
- to meet legal obligations and protect rights where applicable.
Applicable legal bases, controller/processor roles, and jurisdiction-specific disclosures: [LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED AFTER OPERATOR, TARGET JURISDICTIONS, AND VENDOR CONFIGURATION ARE CONFIRMED].
6. Analytics
PixelArtNow does not use Google Analytics 4, Plausible Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity in the current service. There is no analytics consent control because no optional analytics vendor is active. Enabling analytics later requires a separate Product, Legal, Engineering, and QA review plus truthful updates to this draft before release.
7. Services and recipients
List only services actually configured and approved:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security. Actual products, data categories, role, region, logs, retention, DPA, and transfer mechanism:
[OWNER/OPS/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED]. Policy/DPA links must point to the verified applicable documents. - Google Search Console — site ownership, sitemap, indexing, and aggregate search performance. Verification method and property:
[OWNER/OPS INPUT REQUIRED].
- Support email provider — used only when you contact us. Provider, categories, role, region, retention, DPA/transfer, and policy link:
[OWNER/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED].
Delete every unused vendor row before publication. Do not imply a service is active merely because it is named in this draft.
8. Cookies and browser storage
The current production candidate does not write analytics cookies, identifiers, or an analytics-choice record. A namespaced pixelartnow.* consent implementation is retained only as inactive source for a future separately reviewed release; legacy consent is not inherited.
Image bytes, filenames, tool settings, edit history, outputs, and selected coordinates must not be written to cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or other persistent browser storage under the current Product contract.
9. Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, subject to applicable law. Exact periods or verifiable criteria must be stated for each category before publication:
- Cloudflare request/security logs:
[OWNER/OPS/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED] - Support email:
[OWNER/SUPPORT/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED] - Rights/complaint records:
[LEGAL/OPS INPUT REQUIRED]
Do not substitute guessed vendor defaults for actual account settings.
10. International data transfers
Hosting and support providers may process technical information in countries other than yours. Actual account regions, transfer destinations, provider roles, DPAs, Standard Contractual Clauses or other transfer mechanisms: [OWNER/OPS/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED].
Do not publish a claim that data stays in the United States or any other region without complete evidence.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, to withdraw consent, or to complain to a regulator. These rights may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, and the limits of information we actually hold.
To make a request, contact support@pixelartnow.com [INBOX MUST BE VERIFIED]. Applicable response process, verification method, appeal/complaint route, and regulator details: [LEGAL/OPS INPUT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE JURISDICTION].
We cannot promise to erase data another provider must retain under law or a valid contract.
12. Children
PixelArtNow is not directed to children under 13. We do not ask for a date of birth or provide current user accounts. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can assess and respond.
If PixelArtNow becomes directed to children or obtains actual knowledge of under-13 use/data, we will not rely solely on this general statement; related analytics must stop while a COPPA-specific assessment and appropriate response are completed.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the current service and the information handled. No website, browser, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and PixelArtNow does not guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, vendors, law, or our practices change. We will update the Last updated date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. A material change to image upload/storage, accounts, payments, AI/API processing, public sharing, or analytics requires a new Product/Data/Legal review before the related copy is published.
